Hand-woven photo-realistic mug shots!  What!?

Artist Joanne Arnett uses thread and wire to make her portraits.  Being woven gives them depth and texture, and the light reflects the wire so they change at different angles.  These would be incredible to view in person.  The artist has written the essay Woven Exposure for Dirty Laundry Magazine, about her work and process.
